Climbing & Physical Activity – Improving Body & Mind

Increasingly we are receiving more enquiries about providing climbing and activity sessions to improve and support mental health. We know that across Calderdale and Kirklees, 1 in 3 young people are struggling with mental health.

Research shows that the more active a child is the happier they are.  Sport England Activity Report shows that  just 46.8% of the nation’s children and young people are meeting the recommended level, but this is an increase on previous years.

This increase is driven by more out of school activity, including active play, team sports and walking.
