A message from Bob & Carol Bridgestock

R.C. Bridgestock is the name that international husband and wife co-authors Robert (Bob) and Carol Bridgestock write under. They are also storyline/police advisors for popular TV dramas. Between them they have nearly 50 years of police experience with West Yorkshire Police; Bob retiring as a highly respected, commended officer of the community, at the rank of Detective Superintendent.
After his 30 years as a highly respected and commended police officer, Bob retired with an exemplary police record and was thanked for his loyal, and devoted service to the community. Writing, and TV consultancy work keeps Carol and Bob busy; longstanding experience in all areas of policing means that the couple regularly provide advice and views to the media on policing issues.
Having had full careers in a highly stressful pressured environment, often at the forefront of dealing with tragedy; Bob and Carol, post retirement are keen to use this life experience and knowledge to give something back to our community. Our patrons support many good causes and regularly attend fundraising events good causes, for whom they help gain media coverage, and donor sponsorship.
We are delighted to have Bob and Carol on board with our charity, bringing with them their expertise, understanding and enthusiasm to make a difference, giving more people the opportunity to improve physical and mental wellbeing through active urban adventure!
